Peter Colls has repeatedly attained a position in the top 5% of Realtors in the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board.

Peter has achieved numerous RE/MAX Club designations many years reflecting the accomplishments of the top 2% of over 100,000 Realtors in the RE/MAX system, worldwide. He has also earned his Master Medallion Club Member Award from the Greater Vancouver Real Estate Board representing multiple placements in the top 5% of all Vancouver Realtors.

Peter earned his Registered Relocation Specialist (RRS) designation many years ago. Peter assists a national and international clientele from his Vancouver home base, serving both Vancouver clients in the immediate sense, and consulting past Whistler clients with planning and tactical advice (and solid partnerships with several of the most experienced Realtors currently active), due to his extensive knowledge of Whistler dating back to 1982.

Raised in Old Oakville and Town of Mont Royal, Peter lived in Whistler full time for three years in the early '80's, and for six years from 1998 to 2004. He has been an active weekend resident, skiing 35 to 92 times per season, qualifying as a true "local" knowing many of the original and subsequent proprietors over the years, as well as legions of long time weekenders.

Peter's home has been in the heart of the original core of glorious subtropical Vancouver since 1982 other than his years at Whistler.

Peter was born in Montreal where he attended Lower Canada College. At fourteen his family moved to Old Oakville where he was a Foundation Scholar at Appleby College, and an Honours graduate of Oakville Trafalgar High School. He earned an Economics Degree from Queen's University in Kingston, as well as a Diploma in Ski Resort Operations and Management from Selkirk College in Nelson.

Prior to Real Estate Peter worked for both Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains, as well as for the corporate sales team at Intrawest, the parent company to both mountains. He also spent two years in the Corporate Sales and Marketing department of EXPO 86, and later promoted British Columbia tourism as the Director of Marketing for Beautiful British Columbia Magazine, and a contract as a consultant with Tourism Vancouver.

An extremely avid skier and boater as well as being a fair to middling squash and golf player, Peter grew up skiing, starting at six years old. He is lucky his father was raised in Tadanack, near Red Mountain because the young family skied in the Eastern Townships, Laurentians, and Ellicottville NY at Holimont almost every weekend. History is repeating itself as Peter's son Max has just turned 12 and now skis FAST, consistently beating dad from 'Peak to Creek'.
